Tony Wrisinger begins his eigth year with Vision Sports. On Football Fridays he hosts the ReMax Professionals Game Night Pre Game Show and does the sideline reports during the Vision Sports broadcasts. Tony resides in Blue Springs with his wife Tracy, and their children Andy (17), Olivia (4) and their newest addition Eleanor (June 2008).
Tony is proud to be a nine-year vetran of the Royals Radio Network sales team. Tony founded the State Farm Legends Luncheons Series featuring Buck O’Neil in 2000 and has raised over $120,000 for the NLBM during that time frame. He was also the project coordinator of the Best of Buck CD, featuring the great stories of Kansas City Baseball Legend Buck O’Neil.
Tony was recognized as the Royals on Radio Account Executive of the Year in 2004. The State Farm Legends Luncheons Series is his most prized professional accomplishment. “To see the smiles and receive the compliments from people who love the Legends Luncheons and have the opportunity to rub elbows with some of the greatest players in Major League Baseball is priceless”.

Dale Carter
Play by Play Announcer
There is another side to KFKF’s morning drive co-host Dale Carter. He has a passion for football and doing the play-by-play for those games. For nearly a decade he waited patiently for Brian Johnston to get the call from Pittsburg State to do their games and now Dale is the voice of the Blue Springs Wildcats and the Blue Springs South Jaguars!!
Prior to coming to Kansas City in 1995, Dale was the voice of high school football and basketball in Evansville, Indiana, for 8 years and spent a year as the voice of the University of Southern Indiana Screaming Eagles basketball team.
Dale is an 13-year resident of Blue Springs. His wife Lisa is the afternoon news anchor at KMBZ in Kansas City. Their son Matt is a member of the Blue Springs Golden Regiment Marching Band. Son Nick graduated last year at Blue Springs and son Jonathan is at Sunny Vale Middle School.

Tim Crone
Color Analyst Blue Springs Wildcats
I received my first teaching and coaching job at Washington High School in the fall of 1973. I served as Head Baseball and Assistant Football Coach. In 1974 the Washington baseball team won its first conference championship. The Blue Jays won the 3A State Championship in football and was state runner up in 1974. In 1986, I took a teaching and coaching job at Blue Springs High School. I served as Head Softball Coach and Defensive Coordinator for Football. I taught in the classroom and had testing duties for the counseling department. I coached softball for seven years, with a career record of 127-20. The teams won four conference championships. The football teams from 1986-1995 compiled a record of 82-27, winning eight straight conference championships, two state semi final round appearances, and one State Championship in 1992. I also served five years as Assistant Golf Coach and won two conference championships. In 1996 I served as Head Football Coach with a record of 10-1. We won the conference and district titles. I was named co-coach of the year by the Blue Springs Examiner. Ladell Betts was awarded the Simone Award for that year as the best football player in the Kansas City area. For the past seven years I have done the color with Brian Johnston for the Blue Springs High School home football games on Vision Sports. I have also worked for Team Sports doing the color on several football, baseball, basketball and boxing contests. I write a weekly column for the Blue Springs Examiner. I have been married to my wife, Helen for 26 years. We have two beautiful daughters, Kendra, 33 years of age and Katie, 23. Kendra is married and is a fourth grade teacher in the Blue Springs School District while Katie is currently finishing her education.

Buddy Young
Color Analyst Blue Springs South Jaguars
Buddy has been associated with high school football in Kansas City for a long time. He began his career in Blue Springs in the late 70’s as an assistant football and track coach at Blue Springs high school. After that he became the head football coach and athletic director of Grain Valley High School from 1984-88. From there he was head football coach of North Kansas City until 1995 when he became the head football coach and athletic director of Blue Springs South High School. Buddy had been broadcasting Blue Springs South football games as color commentator since 2001, the year after Greg Oder became head football coach. Broadcasting football games has kept him involved in the game that he devoted his coaching career to. He remained athletic director until his retirement in 2004.

Myron Thomas
Producer
Myron Thomas graduated with a bachelors of communications degree from Central Missouri State University in 1987 where he majored in broadcasting. While at CMSU, he worked at KCNW-FM. From 1988 to 1992 he worked at KCNW-AM 1380. Myron was a studio camera operator for KYFC-TV 50 and he was the defensive coordinator for the football team at Bishop Hogan High School from ’92 to ’93 before returning to KCNW. Myron left KCNW in ’98 to work for the Bott Radio Network. In ’99 Myron left Bott to become the program director at KCWJ-AM 1030. Also in ’99 he became the studio producer for Vision Sports. In 2002 Myron returned to the Bott Radio Network where he serves as a network board operator. Myron was an all conference lineman in high school. His high school tied for the conference championship for the first time in its history his senior season. Myron walked on during spring practice at CMSU his freshmen year. He’s engineered sports broadcasts for CMSU football and basketball, SMS basketball, Baker University football, high school hockey and Blue Springs and Blue Springs South basketball and baseball.

Fred Frank
Chief Engineer
Fred Frank, Broadcast engineer for 30+ years. Sports field broadcasting with professional teams such as KC Chiefs, Royals, Comets, Kings for 25+ years. Various College and high school venues over the last 15 years. Has lived in the KC Metro area for the last 50 years. Has 3 children and 7 grandchildren. Currently working as site facility manager for a major tower company within the United States.

Rich Montgomery
Chief Statistician
Rich Montgomery and wife Mary have lived in the Blue Springs area for 20 years. Rich is a long time Mizzou Tiger Fan and still to this day works for the University by heading up the "Chain Gang" for all Mizzou home games and also does the Big XII Championship games when they are held at Arrowhead. Both sons, Jeff and Mark, are married and have a total of three children. For those counting, that is three grandchildren for Rich.
After teaching and coaching for ten years, Rich became a State Farm agent and has been in Blue Springs for 20 years. 30 years altogether with State Farm. Rich has been associated with Brian and Tony and Freddy for almost 10 years. Rich loves to do the stats for Tim and/or Buddy as Dale does the hard work. Rich looks forward to the Fall Football season both college and high school. |
